Mrs. Kenneth Botham, 25, of 1914 Ouray, one of four murder victims whose bodies were recovered from the Gunnison River, had lived in Grand Junction for several years.

She had been active in the Mesa View Baptist Church, as pianist, had taught piano, had been involved in radio broadcasting, and had pursued photography as a hobby.

Mrs. Botham was an associate member of the Professional Photographers of America.

Mrs. Botham was born Patricia Jantz, Jan. 21, 1950, at Enid, Okla., and spent her childhood in Denver.  She graduated from Silver State High School there, and attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina, briefly, majoring in piano.

The Bothams were married at Redlands Community Church June 9, 1969.  They lived in Los Angeles for a time while he was attending school, then returned to Grand Junction.  He is a vice-president of the Tri-Star Corporation.

The Bothams have two sons, Thayer, five, and Thad Mark, two.  Mrs. Botham is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Jantz of Greenville, S.C.

Memorial services for Patricia J. Botham, 25, will be held Saturday, October 11, at 2 p.m. in the Faith Baptist Church with Rev. O. J. Holler officiating.  Martins Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
