The change of venue hearing for Kenneth H. Botham Jr. has been reset for 9 a.m. May 4 in Dist. Judge William Ela’s court room.
The date for the hearing was set this morning, after the judge, Dist. Atty. Terrance Farina and Public Defender Robert Emerson had consulted.
Botham is charged in the murders of his wife, Patricia, and her neighbors, Mrs. Linda Miracle and sons, Troy and Chad, last Aug. 23.
The original March date for the hearing was vacated, when the public defender’s office filed a Supreme Court motion to remove Judge Ela as the presiding judge. That motion was filed this week.
